Hannah Peverley
Hannah began her musical training at East Sussex Preparatory Music Course in Lewes, and was subsequently awarded a place at Trinity College of Music, London. Hannah continues with her vocal and musical development under the watchful eye (ear!) of Hamish Pitceathly.
She has given numerous performances of 20th Century British Song in London and the Home Counties and recitals encompassing Opera, Lieder and French Song. Her debut recital was at St John’s Smith Square in February 1995 and recently gave a series of recitals at Leighton House, Holland Park. She was European Chamber Opera’s Mezzo Soloist on their Middle Eastern Cruise Tour 2001 and regularly sings extra chorus for the Chisinau National Opera’s Royal Albert Hall performances.
Her wide-ranging operatic stage experience includes key rôles such as; Fenena (Nabucco), Sibel (Faust), The Sorceress (Dido and Aeneas), Carmen (Carmen), Charlotte (Werther), Suzuki (Madama Butterfly), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Third Lady (Die Zauberflöte), Olga (Eugene Onegin, Ulrica (Masked Ball) and Lucienne (Die tote Stadt - Korngold) [British Première] working with companies including Amici di Verdi, Regency Opera, English Festival Opera, European Chamber Opera, Bloomsbury Opera, Chelsea Opera, The Handel Opera Company, Park Opera, West London Opera and Kensington Symphony Orchestra. |
